Welcome to Florida State College at Jacksonville’s newest facility on the Westside of Jacksonville. Located at the intersection of Normandy and New World Avenues, The Cecil Center is a comprehensive higher-education facility offering a full schedule of college credit courses, as well as adult studies and workforce programs. We are currently registering students for Fall Term 2008.

Additionally, those students who need preparatory work or adult studies to qualify for college courses can do so at Cecil.
Our 48,000 square-foot facility is a technology-rich learning environment: biology, chemistry and physics laboratories provide opportunities for hands-on science education, while classrooms afford multimedia experiences; our auditorium, conference room, library and learning center and computer labs provide all the ingredients to give students a quality education.
Our “one-stop” student commons has all the necessary student services, enabling visitors to enjoy the convenience of a single location when applying for admissions, getting advice about financial aid and registering for classes — it’s all under one roof!
Cecil Center is located just minutes from your Westside neighborhoods, businesses and surrounding communities. With the opening of the new center and opportunities already available at Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Cecil Center South — Aviation Center of Excellence (ACE), students have a wide array of programs from which to choose.
