VARK - A Guide to Learning Styles
- It can be helpful for students to understand their own learning style. This will give them information on the best way to take in information and to learn effectively.
- The VARK Web site has a simple questionnaire that can be taken with the results tabulated immediately. There is more information on the Web site about each learning style.
The VARK questionnaire aims to find out something about your preferences for the way you work with information. You will have a preferred learning style and one part of that learning style is your preference for the intake and output of ideas and information.
- Your VARK preferences can be used to help you develop additional, effective strategies for learning. From the choices below, select your particular preference(s) to see how you should:
- take in information;
- study information for effective learning;
- study for performing well on an examination.
