“Making the Most of Your Money” series at Florida Community College begins May 15
Florida Community College’s Open Campus is offering a six-part series of courses for those who want to learn how to manage their money so they can live within their means while planning for the future. “Making the Most of Your Money” begins May 15. It meets every Thursday through June 19, from 7-9 p.m. at the FCCJ South Campus, 11901 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville.
Tuition for the entire series is $245, which includes all course materials and free enrollment for a spouse or partner. Students may also enroll in individual courses for $49 each if they prefer. Courses include Budgeting 101; Estate Planning—What You Need to Know; Insurance for Every Stage of Life; Investing Basics; Forging Your Financial Future; and Retirement Planning for the Real World. Courses are taught by financial expert Jim Duran of Bull and Bear Capital.
