Florida Community College offers five student-directed one-act plays July 18-19 from “All in the Timing” by comedic playwright David Ives
Florida Community College is presenting five student-directed one-act plays on July 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. at the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts Studio Theatre on South Campus.
The five one-acts are from a collection of 14 works, “All in the Timing,” by David Ives, a comedic and thought-provoking playwright known for his wit, brevity and simple staging.
The plays (and their directors) are “English Made Simple” and “A Singular Kind of Guy,” (both directed by Katie Metz); “Seven Menus,” (Matt Mercurio); “Foreplay, or the Art of the Fugue,” (Chelsea Donovan); and “The Universal Language,” (David M. Farrington).
Admission is a suggested donation of $5. The Wilson Center is located at the South Campus of Florida Community College, 11901 Beach Blvd. For more information call 904.646.2222.
