Florida Community College at Jacksonville closing Aug. 21 due to threat of Fay

Florida Community College at Jacksonville is presently open and will remain so through the course of Wednesday, Aug. 20, including evening classes.

The College will be closed for all operations on Thursday, Aug. 21.

The College expects to be back in full operation Friday, Aug. 22. Any changes to this plan will be announced mid-day on Aug. 21.

Students and members of the public may get updated information regarding operations (closings and reopening) at Florida Community College in several ways:

  • WOKV radio (690 AM, 106.5 FM) and other local media.
  • Click on the storm update button on the College’s Web site.
  • Call the College Emergency Hotline at 904.633.5908.

Updates will be provided at necessary intervals through those venues.
