Florida Community College Business Writing Academy begins May 13

Improve communication and writing skills for managers and staff

The FCCJ Open Campus Business Writing Academy has offered written and communication skill improvement to employers for nearly a decade, benefiting managers and staff with a grammar review and text books packed with powerful tips.

The next 2008 class begins May 13. It meets every Tuesday through June 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the FCCJ Urban Resource Center, 601 W. State St. in Jacksonville. Taught by corporate trainer and professional writer-editor Deborrah Hoag, the series offers Grammar and Usage Review; Proofreading; Business Writing Style; Letters and Memos; Reports and Proposals.

Tuition for the Academy is $325, which includes all course materials. Students may also enroll in individual courses if they prefer.

Students may register at any FCCJ campus Enrollment Office or online. For more information, call the FCCJ Continuing Education at 904.633.8292.
