Improve your career outlook: Florida Community College features 50+ programs at June 19 Summer Education Fest

Florida Community College is hosting a free Summer Education Fest at its Advanced Technology Center, 401 W. State St. on June 19 from 5:30–8 p.m. The Education Fest is an open house for dozens of FCCJ’s more than 200 programs. Department representatives will be on hand to answer questions about program and degree requirements for those who want to improve their career outlook through education.

Information Sessions will provide details on a new Air Traffic Control program, bachelor’s and associate degrees, short-term certificate program—even high-school completion programs. Information sessions will also be presented on FCCJ’s new Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications; and Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management degrees, which (pending SACS approval) join the College’s first, the Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Fire Science Management.

Representatives will also be on hand to provide information about enrollment and financial aid, including scholarships. Program information will be available throughout the evening, and scheduled workshops begin at 6, 6:45 and 7:30 p.m. For more information contact the Learner Support Center at 904.646.2300.
