With SACS approval for three new bachelor’s programs, Florida Community College bachelor’s degree application deadline extended to July 11

Florida Community College at Jacksonville has received official confirmation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) the new baccalaureate programs in Supervision and Management, Computer Networking and Nursing have been approved. The College now has full authority to admit students immediately and to launch the new programs in the Fall 2008 term.

Florida Community College at Jacksonville is extending the application deadline for Fall Term 2008 admission to each of its four bachelor’s degree programs to July 11. This gives applicants for the programs a two-week extension from the original deadline to initiate the process by submitting the Florida Community College bachelor’s degree program application (available at any campus Enrollment Services Office or online) no later than July 11. Classes for the new bachelor’s degree programs begin Aug. 25.

The College’s four bachelor’s programs—nursing, supervision and management, networking and telecommunications, and fire science management—each have other specific requirements for admission. Bachelor’s degree applicants will receive advising and information regarding other documentation required and submission deadlines for their desired program.
