 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Family Literacy Fair at the Florida Community College North Campus The Florida Community College North Campus and Nassau Center is presenting a Family Literacy Fair, to residents of Duval and Nassau Counties, at the FCCJ North Campus, 4501 Capper Road in Jacksonville, (I-95 to Dunn Ave. or I-295 to Dunn Ave.). The fair has been postponed due to TS Fay. The Fair will feature interactive games and music, face painting, JSO equipment, Mr. Wizard, music, celebrity readers, storytelling, games, prizes, and surprises. There will be live performances and demonstrations by an illusionist, a ventriloquist, and book characters, as well as the opportunity to take a reading level assessment. A dental presentation and vision screening will be available. Lunch will be provided. For information call 904.766.6553. |
