Scholarships

Academic Achievement Scholarship: $3,000 ($1,500 per semester)

Students must have a 3.5 GPA, enroll fulltime, and have at least a 1,000 on the SAT or a 21 on the ACT. Students will participate in FCCJ’s Honors Academy and must take two honors classes per term. Honors classes are meant to enhance your education and challenge your mind. The classes focus on special topics, leadership skill building, and special activities such as interaction with visiting faculty and independent study in the student’s chosen major. Student must file FAFSA and complete financial aid process. Transcripts must be submitted to the scholarships office on or before the deadline date.

Scholars Award: $3,000 ($1,500 per semester)

Recipients must have a 3.5 GPA, enroll in two honors classes (six credit hours) each semester, file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and complete the financial aid process. Transcripts must be submitted to the scholarship office on or before the scholarship deadline date.

Scholars Award (Part-time): $1,000 ($500 per semester)

Recipients must be enrolled part-time in at least six, but no more than 11, credit hours per term (fall/spring semesters), which must include at least one honors course (three credit hours). Student must have a 3.5 GPA, file the FAFSA and complete financial aid process. Transcripts must be submitted to the Scholarship Office on or before the scholarship deadline date.

To apply for scholarships, complete a scholarship application and a FAFSA and return those to any Florida Community College financial aid office.
