CTE 1300 Introduction to Clothing Construction — 3 Credit Hours

This course is designed for beginning sewers. Topics include selection of equipment, selection and use of a pattern, selection, care and use of sewing and pressing equipment, simple alterations, and developing very basic construction skills. Students will construct a simple pull-on elastic waist bottom and a simple pullover top. Four contact hours: two lecture hours, two laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
