 Courses College Credit Courses HIM 2280C Advanced Coding and Classification — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: HIM 1800. This course is a continuation of ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding. Emphasis will be on more rules that are complex and conventions for assigning codes, prioritizing codes, DRG assignments and reimbursement optimization, and software application.
