PHT 1212C Electrotherapeutic Modalities — 2 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: PHT 2220C. The course covers the theory, physiological effects, indications, contraindication and application of electrotherapeutic modalities commonly used in physical therapy. A laboratory component provides students with an opportunity to apply and practice skills with an emphasis on safety, effectiveness and efficiency. Four contact hours: two lecture hours, two laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
