Honors and volunteer service: Some of the organizations I have had the opportunity to work with include: Habijax, Jacksonville Zoo, Jacksonville Humane Society, American Cancer Society, Donna Hicken Foundation, Learn to Read, Hubbard House, and The Susan G. Komen Foundation. This year, I’m the Volunteer Chair for the 2006 Race for the Cure® in Jacksonville on Oct. 21, 2006. I also mentor at Annie R. Morgan elementary several times a month.
 
Awards and recognitions at Florida Community College: President’s List every semester since Summer 2004. FCCJ Honors Academy Scholars Award, FCCJ Paralegal Scholarship, John Edward Alan Memorial Scholarship, Sigma Kappa Delta, Presidential Volunteer Service Award/Silver (250+ community service hours in one year), Golden Key Member of Phi Theta Kappa (200+ hours), 1st Team All-Florida, 2nd Team All-USA, Guistwhite Scholarship (Phi Theta Kappa $5,000), Who’s Who Among American College Students Award.
